Apryle, Children’s Behavioral Consultant

Compassion. Our world is in need of compassion. Too often people in our world experience hatred, cruelty, and insensitivity. This hatred, cruelty, and insensitivity can weigh us down and take us to a place where we no longer want to fight. Bringing compassion into our world is an essential part of making the world a better place. I seek to bring this compassion into the therapeutic environment as I interact with special needs children and their families. Incorporating compassion into behavioral therapy is essential as it may be one of the few places that these children and families experience compassion.

Apryle is a behavioral health professional with over 13 years of experience working with children with special needs and their families. She is passionate about helping children develop meaningful acquisition skills that empower them to live fuller, more independent lives. Just as importantly, she supports parents by teaching practical behavior management strategies that promote lifelong growth and development.

Apryle’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Lock Haven University, as well as a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Evangelical Theological Seminary. She also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology. Prior to her work in behavioral health, Apryle served for three years as an Associate Pastor in the United Methodist Church—a role that continues to inform the compassionate, client-centered care she provides today.
