Love. We all need love. Love from our family, from our friends, our significant other, our community, and so forth. When we are lucky enough to receive a constant flow of love, a healthy foundation is then built. Our “cup” feels full and we are then able to jump over each of life’s hurdles. A lack of love can create loneliness, anxiety, lack of self-worth, and difficulty forming healthy relationships. Therapy can help create a safe and loving environment to help with whatever difficulty is presenting itself. Whether that be a place to be truly heard, a place to heal, or a place to finally feel accepted.
In 2012 I received a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Eastern University. I currently counsel at Restore as well as teach Psychology part-time at Mercy College of Ohio. As a child, I had a constant yearning to show love to others in whatever way I could. What is a relationship without love? As I aged, these characteristics fueled a desire to become a counselor. I love providing a safe and calming environment for people to express their thoughts, feelings, and challenges. I deeply believe God created me to express love to people and help build up their lives in order to become their best self. My personal interests are reading, spending time with my husband and three children, and baking.
